Are you tired of seeing the same old news reports on television about Tuesday's tragedy? Are you curious to find out :confused:WHY  this happened? And not just what we can do to stop terrorism, but what America has done to make itself a target...
The Campus Greens are planning a rally tomorrow afternoon between Pearce and Anspach Hall, beginning at noon, followed by a campus-wide march. Local green party member and former House candidate Alan Gamble is expected to make an appearance.

Its hard to belive that in one small amount of time america can be robbed of so much more. It is even harder to belive that people in this country want to do the same. I have heard citizens and even some students say that we need to just wipe out all arabs and palistinian people. I hope this is not the general mentality. But I worry that what will happen next will not be pretty and that the blood pf more innocents will dies. Peace to you all.

What we have done to deserve this? I can't believe that...nobody deserves what happened two days ago, especially not the thousands of innocents who did nothing more than attempt to carry on with the normalcy of their lives, and were made unwilling participants by a pack of lunatics that didn't have a shred of humanity in committing this crime against the world. There are people on this campus and around the world implying that we need to take a share of the blame in this...I'd very much like to see them repeat that to the face of someone who had talked to their loved one on one of the jet planes as it was going down, or a relative of one of the souls seen falling to their deaths after jumping out of the WTC towers, or even a mother or father or grandparent that lost a child in all this, young kids and babies were on these planes and in the buildings, remember. Yeah, peace is a wonderful idea, but you can't explain it to someone who has no interest in peace, but in mayhem and death. What these people are saying isn't un-American-it's inhuman.
Moving this over to events...
