I just read it in the Morning Sun. Yesterday United got approval from the city to demolish the buldings (one of the oldest apts. in Mt.P) and build new, modern complexes.

Sorry Mike, you'll have to find a new place.

Sorry Mikey. There is a cardboard box behind K-mart you could move into!

How long did you guys plan on living at huntungton anyway? I know you want to stay, but theres other fine places out there (that arent United) I've lived in 4 different places in six years.

In my opinion....anything owned by United Apts would be a mistake.

i've seen other posts about them on here. are they really that shady?

It is just easier to avoid them! They almost never give back security deposits. I lived in Jamestown the year it opened. I had all sorts of problems. All my walls had huge cracks in them because the building was sinking, the grass got mowed like once every 3 weeks, they sucked at snow removal (had to push my car out more than once), and I did not get my security deposit back (no reason was ever given). I could really go on and on with reasons to not rent from United. So to answer your question...Yes they are really that shady.

Thanks Kelly for the input. I'll keep that in mind forsure.
