Extremely Cheap Rent ?

I am thinking of commuting from Lansing next year, and having my classes all on MW or TH. I also don't know if I want to make the trip up here and back twice a week. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that would rent me a spare room somewhere for reall cheap. I would only be there 2 nights a week, max. Is there anything out there for me?

It seems funny to commute from Lansing everyday. Between what you would pay in rent here for those two nights, plus gas, plus the wear and tear on your car.... sounds to me like it would cost just as much if not more to live in Mt. Pleasant. And then if the weather gets really bad and you can't drive that far on the roads, having classes those two days might become a problem.

Excuse me I forgot the "y" on really. Typo mistake.

About the traveling issue, I have a car that gets 30 miles per gallon the highway. That means round trip it would take 4 gallons...like 16 bucks a week, which is far less than 300 a month or more for rent.

As far as pricing goes, I'm not even looking to sign a lease. Just if someone has an extra bedroom or something I would help out with bills and a percentage of the rent. Everything is negotiable. I am not even sure if I will bother with this, I am just inquiring.

195//month is the cheapest i've seen in town. compare taht to 20$ a gas fillup and you're probably still savin money commuting

concord apartments are havin insane deals on rent, i think it is 165 a month, plus they are throwing in incentives like $500 for signing or some craziness like that, probably because they will be rebuilding next year. the apartments are kind of dives, but they are basically on campus.
