Intramural Floor Hockey

Does anyone know when the season starts? Where do I sign up? I REALLY want to play! I need to get my hockey fix.

Is there any intrest in just strapping on some roller blades, finding a lot some afternoon and just playing a pickup game? Used to that all the time out in front of MSU's fooball stadium. It's a good time and I'd love to get back into it.

I have my skates here but unfortunately I don't have a stick. I'm a lefty shooter. I would definitely be interested in just messin around in some parking lot or whatever.

I'm a lefty too, and as you everything I would need is at home. But give me a good excuse to go get it and I will. Maybe even hook you up with a stick to use. We'd need at least 8+ people to have a good time though - The more the marrier!

Floor hockey-ya, i'm kinda pissed about that...its usually both semesters with big turnouts both times. Wonder why they didnt do it this semester.

Roller Hockey-We usually head out behind robinson at least once a week when me and my buddies have time. There is a hockey rink there with cans for goals

So is floor hockey pretty competitive or what??? From what I have seen from broomball it looks like there are some people around here with some hockey skill. If anyone wants to get a good team together, I can play some hella goalie (6 years competitive). I am also a pretty good offenseman or defenseman. Do I need to bring my goalie pads for floor hockey cuz that wouldn't be fair. I have ice pads and I would block the whole goal standing up.

I want to play floor hockey next semester too! I have played street hockey a couple of times with some of my guy friends. There is a really nice rink in Coleman. It's about 25 minutes from Mt. Pleasant. I'm not the best but I have a great time playing. Oh yeah, I'm a lefty too. If anyone wants to get together sometime, let me know. I have 2 sticks up here and someone can borrow one of them.

Count me in playing floor hockey. I played competitive for 3 years (roller and ice hockey), position: center, or goal.

If you have a car and want to play hockey on some roller blades there is a pretty good place to play in coleman (about 30 mins away). The rink is inside a barn type thing, it's always open and has good nets. I find it a whole lot better then playing on that crap behind robinson. If only i hadn't broke my only stick i would be playing all the time.
