Went to the gym yesterday and worked out. It was my 2nd day back so I was gonna start off light.
I thought I did. I only did 30 min of cardio and then worked out my tri's with 20lbs dumbbells. 4 different excercises.

My tri's are pretty dam sore today though. Guess I worked em out too hard.

I just got back from Wendys, ate five Cheeseburger Deluxes, my arms and mouth are pretty sore from all that lifting and chewing, and my stomach is starting to stretch out and is hurting because I stuffed it full.

LoL @ deviance99

Yeah I know how u feel Jon.

I have been running a mile or 2 everyday. One mile in the morning and usually one at night if I want to get stuff off my mind but last night I wanted to run and the SAC was closed so I thought I would do it outside around tallgrass (twice around the block in tallgrass is a little over a mile) and man, that cold air killed me. I took a shower and layed right in bed and I will still breathing hard.

Hey everyone, I'm new to this.. I work out a good 5 days a week... I just do free weights to tone up. I'm SO sore from my break then trying to get back into things now that I'm back! grr

I've read that you can reduce soreness not only by stretching after a work out, but also by sitting in the sauna for 20 minutes then taking a lukewarm shower. I've yet to try that though, so I'm not sure if it works.

I'm pretty sure the warm water helps to improve circulation and reduce lactic acid build up, which means- less soreness.

The hot tub /sauna never realy helped me because the amount of soreness I feel every day is from deep within the muscle fibers. If anyone has ever watched me struggle to put my shoes on because it hurts everywhere, then you'll see what I mean.

I've found that heavy soreness can only be cured by nutrition. Taking magnisium and glutimine supplements help repair muscles faster while you sleep, and drinking lots of water helps keep you blood working.

There is even a supplement called Night Charger that helps a great deal (you take it at night). It cost big $$$ though.
