try doing a little cardio and then stretching your back out... you are way too young to be throwing out your back while carrying drinks...
I studied lower back injuries in an industrial ergonomics class.
First thing- Take it easy! Lower back injuries are almost always caused by too much use, so rest it for a while (if possible).
Second- After resting, then try some re-hab. Start with those messages and hot tubs, and eventualy exercises like dead lifts (light!), good-mornings, and hyper-extensions.
Go easy BT14, there is no way to work through it if its hurt. In the future, be aware of back over-exertion, and you'll be fine.

I mean, that is a little vague, if he was say, carrying in a keg, I can see him throwing out his back, but if it was a case or two of pop... that shouldn't happen so young...
to be honest, my mother, who is in her 40's, who HAS HAD 6 back surgeries wouldn't even throw out her back carrying in a case or two of pop...
Yes, take care of yourselves! Those back injuries are extremely common, and they will haunt you.
The key is lazyness. Reduce the time you spend stressing your back. It works for my dad, and he's 60, overweight, and doesnt exercise.

Hey BT...if its still hurting you put heat on it now if its over 48hrs. If its not just use some ice! 20min on and 20min off!! And rest...dont lift anything heavy for a bit. LEARN HOW TO LIFT RIGHT!!!
it wasn't just a couple of 12 cases, it was a case of 24 20 oz sports drinks and on top of that was another 12 20 oz arizona ice teas in glass bottles. As far as lifting right, My arms can't take a load like that for too long. Anyone wanna take me to workout at the gym?
i need to get there too, i scared myself when i couldnt do 100 consecutive sit ups or pushups when i decided to start doing it again every morning and every night, very sad day for me. so i am trying to get back into gear to get into shape again, so for the next two weeks i'm goin to workout, then i'll prolly get sick of it again and go back to old habits LOL
Hey BT is TB backwards.........huh?
Anyways, I don't have your back problem but I do have old knee injuries (torn ligaments) that never healed right and still hurt sometimes. The only thing I can suggest if relax and it won't be anything a few beers can handle.
