Has anyone experienced putting their paging file either on a seperate drive or partition? Right now my paging file is still on my C drive and Im wondering performance increases if I did differently.

Just seems that if Im transfering gigs of files over to other drives, my computer lags as hell, and you can't do anything on it, even open up a browser session. Plus my HD's are 7200 RPM drives, so that really shouldn't be the issue.

It is recommended that the pagefile be placed on a seperate partition, preferably on a seperate physical disk also. Try a program called cache man and run the wizard.. it'll set the i/o cache to a larger size etc...
By moving it to a seperate drive u will experince better performance so I suggest u do so. :)
