So, what did you guys think of the Veep debate? I thought way too much attention was spent on Kerry and Bush and that neither Cheney nor Edwards talked about themselves enough. I also think that it got much more heated than did the Presidential debate. Overall I think Cheney got the nod as far as winning the debate goes

hate to say it, because i hate cheney, but i think i may have to agree with you. he lost his temper once or twice, but he was a lot more ready and practiced. to bad nearly everything he was saying except the stuff about tort reform were either HUGE misrepresentations of the facts or outright lies

Cheney mistakenly said "factcheck.com" tonight, as opposed to factcheck.org. Factcheck.com is a redirect to George Soros' personal website. Oops.

I'm just happy that even though i went to the bar toninght, i still got to see a rerun of the vp debate! I almost wanted to ask the good people at B-dubs to put it on....

Go Kerry/Edwards!!!

I'm an avid bush-cheney supporter but even i think it was pretty close. But overall i think cheney had the edge. He was moe prepared then edwards was.

Yeah it was close but Cheney won. They both came off as kind of immature. The attacks were childish.

I think Cheney kicked Edwards ass the first 20 minutes but when it came to domestic policy Edwards layed the lumber on him. Overall Id call it a draw.

I don't think it really matters who won this debate. The polls show Bush and I don't think much will change that.

Cheney clearly kicked his ass! I loved it when he mentioned Edwards had the 4th worst attendance record in the Senate and Edwards just started shaking then said " Um, Um, that is in-accurate", then Cheney said, "No, thats right the record can speak for itself"

Cheney had a lot of slam-dunk quick responses that had Edwards shaken up
