ever had a one night stand at CMU that was just incredible? one that sucked? etc. post if you dare
Not an overwhelming response...
I've had one. A while back.
Let me say "I hate the morning after."
A Lot.
never had one. i guess my brain is always beating my penis in playin chess
once when i was was pretty drunk...it was pretty good... :sneaky:

Never went all the way on a one niter. For some reason, concience always tells me to bail so I dont have to be there in the morning.
I'm usualy certain that I dont want to date any of the girls, but I guess thats the idea of a one niter. Doesnt seem to be wrong to play games though. Cant be a total sexual wasteland.

Been there, done that, had fun before, and didn't have fun before. Although all where while I was drunk....
I've only ever had one awkward morning where I looked over and was like, "WTF did I just do!" That was the first one, after that, my drunk googles got fixed!

I've never slept with a one-nighter but I have messed around with a couple of guys I knew I wasn't all that into. But that was back in the drinking days when feeling like a big tramp didn't set in until after the liquer had worn off.

Not here, but elsewhere. The morning after wasn't that great, neither of us were too interested.
The funny thing is neither of us were drunk either, I hadn't seen a woman in two years and she was a slut.
Either way it was nice, but if I ever do anythign like that again I'm going to have to at least be friends with the person. I don't feel too great if I have NO connection with that person whatsoever. A friend of my was my first, and although we never dated, there was absolutly no "wierdness" between us which was really friggin sweet.

One thing I think is kind of funny is the honesty rate. The rule of three! Some people are telling the truth, some under exagerate, and some of yall I really have never seen. Dont worry, if I do know you, I wont share your personal life.
Heres a question. If you wanted to date someone, and you know theyve had lots of one niters and you havent (or the other way around) would it matter? Assuming they dont have a disease.
Depends on the situation, her personality and if I really liked the laday.

Well, I think it really depends on the person and their reasoning. Like if a guy comes out of a long relationship and has, say 5 or 6 one-nighters in 6 months, I can understand that type of situation. One the other hand if the dude is just insecure and thinks doing a bunch of girls will cure it, that's not cool. Also the type of guy who just wants random sex and no attachment (we're talking high volume over an extended time period) isn't so good either. I'm sure people are capable of taming their wild ways but those are indicators of a weakness of character that may or may not still be in tact.

I just want to clarify that I've only had two such one nighters, one good, the other bad. PLus they were a while back. Just so people don't got around thinking I'm a low self-esteem man-slut :)

Yeh, same here. Ive had quite a few opportunities, but sometimes I get the feeling that these girls want to start some type of relationship, and thats not a good way to go about it! Like devience was saying, its usualy not good to have a relationship started from one nighters. Some of my friends rip on me for not taking the bait, but oh well.
I wouldnt hold any of it against anyone though. Its just one of those crazy things that happen.

I think that in some cases people use being drunk as an excuse to do sexual things that they really want to do sober but are too afraid of how people will view them. I've watched girls pretend to be way more intoxicated then they really are just to have an excuse for their behavior.
I have too, and sometimes I do it as well, but honestly I think I would do something I would want to sober or not.

The morning after was awkward once for me - it was just odd to wake up next to someone I didn't really know all that well. There was very little talking and she just left.
My only other one nighter ended up turning into a short relationship about a month down the road.
I think thats why everyone needs a secret roommate code to help get said girl/guy out of apartment next morning.

I used to think that I could never do a onenight stand because it felt wrong. Then I went thru a certain relationship that messed me up and changed my mind about that while I was in college. I have had them, like most people said though, the morning after is kinda...weird...

Okay, I'll admit that I've had a couple of one nighters. I knew the guys and was really messed up after the end of a longterm relationship. It was a grudgef***, if you will. I felt guilty for a while. Instead of having one nighters, I found that a battery operated "friend" avoided any awkwardness in the morning. I mean, I could throw "him" out of bed as soon as I was done with "him" *giggle*.

I've been the "wait to have sex till your married" kind of girl, until, of course, I came to CMU. Point is that I ended up thinking one nighters were okay, seeing how "once you pop, you just can't stop." As true as it is, I experienced my first one night stand. However it was with my ex. We never had sex when we went out. But I saw him last night, one thing led to another, and my plans are to never talk to him again. I was in the mood, he was there, and *shabang* My views on one nighters and sex in general is to not do it. The only thing on my mind today is "am I pregnant?" How can girls have sex with people one right after the other and not worry about being pregnant? What is your secret???

Peachy- was this your first time? Hopefully you were smart enough to use protection. If this is the case your paranoia is probably uneccesary but not uncommon. When a couple of my friends first started doing it (even safely) they were still scared to death of being pregnant after the first time. I think it has to do with all the horror stories you hear in health class.

Well we did use protection. Plus the day after I went and took the "Plan B" pill. However, that worry is still on my shoulders. I swear I feel like I'm pregnant. But I shouldn't be. Most people do it without protection and don't even get pregnant. So if I am, there is something wrong. Stupid sex. I tell ya, I'm never doing it again!

If I found a girl who wanted a one-night-stand it would be cool, but I would never try to have a one-night-stand with someone who I wasn't sure wanted the same. I'd like to avoid the morning after... Also this is a hypothetical answer to a hypothetical question currently I'm in a relationship so a one night statd would probably be a bad thing.

one night stands are alright. i've had...*counts*...five. one of those turned into a 4-5 month relationship, and a couple of the others were friends.
it feels a little weird the morning after, but even so, i offer to take the woman out to breakfast. i mean, how can it be weird if you're eating food?
