Sluts?!?!?!

I got a question for all of the women on the board. Obviously, from experience, people think Central women are sluts. How do you all feel about that?

From one of my threads I did earlier, there are many female virgins on campus. I think it is harsh for people to judge us just because we go to Central. In no means am I slut, so I find it offensive when men say "OHH...you go to Central. You must be easy huh??" And I have had people do that to me.

How do you women handle it?

i haven't heard yet CMU women to be called that. I've heard CMU has a lot of beautiful girls, which is true. :)

I have not said or heard anyone say: "Join central because women are easy"....

But, I do see a lot of beautiful wowmen around and if you see me, I usually have a smile on my face most of the time because of the nice "view" :)

I have also encountered this problem peachykeen. It seems that if a girl goes to Central, she automatically is thought of as easy. Well I do not consider myself by any means as "easy", and neither do a lot of girls. Central also has the reputation of being a big party school, and most incoming freshmen have the tendacy to go wild and crazy when they first get here. You can usually spot who the freshmen are by how they act at parties. I think that may have a lot to do with the repuatation we Central Girls get. But that's just my theory. Whenever I get that from someone, I just ignore it because they just WISH all of us Central girls were easy...that would be the only way they could get with us.

I know a few slutty girls here, but it's definitely not the majority. It seems like only really sleazy guys end up getting with the slutty girls I know.

But as Jill said, I'm sure there are some, but they aren't the majority. And man-sluts and woman-sluts are more likely to find each other than us non-sluts.

So I guess it's all about perspective, or something.

Slut is someone who provides a very needed service for the community and sleeps with everyone, even the guy that has no shot at getting laid. Sluts are great people, and without them sex crimes would definitely increase. So thank you sluts, wherever you are.

I could have sworn that there was a line in the first American Pie movie that says something about the easy girls from CMU. Also CMU, historicaly a teaching college, has always had a high girl to guy ratio which may just make it appear as though more of us put-out.

There's nothing wrong with putting out. There is something wrong with putting out to a different person each week/month, etc.

The guy to girl ratio is fantastic though! I love the sights when I drive to class each day.

F'k the wayside, ever been to the pub (shabooms)? I've had friends go there, and just tap a girl on the shoulder and start making out with her! I've never seen that at the wayside...

I have seen it at a lot of house parties...303 gaylord is a good place for a hook-up sometimes. I dont know...I dont have any trouble at the Wayside, maybe I should try the pub!

actually I have a pretty precise schedule.

wayside/okellys tuesday, riverwood wednesday, pub thursday

which is funny because during the school year I dont go to any of those places.

I have never been to the pub or riverwood. I usually go to the Wayside only during the school year. I do go to the bird a lot on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I dont know if they will let me back in after last wednesday. :( lol

I did, however, have a couple of roommates my freshman year who were proud to be "Thursday night girls" at one of the frat houses. I still don't know how they survived the walk of shame.

My boyfriend and are are both alumni. He was in a frat and graduated before I did. There were nights when he'd come down to Mt. P and we'd stay in the house. I'd HATE it. Nothing worse than waking up, hungover and still in bar clothes in a frat house. I did the walk of shame, sorta. He was my boyfriend, but most of the people I'd run into in the mornings didn't know who I was. I'm sure they thought I was just a "Thursday night girl." I still don't know how my roommates did it.
