Well, off the AP Wires this morning. Dateline New Orleans (or as Mayor Ray "School Bus" Nagin calls it, "Chocolate City," where white folks can't be elected)

Nagin said because of stronger flood walls, the city is better prepared for the upcoming hurricane season.

Thank You President Bush for doing this!!!! Bill Clinton had 8 years to do this and failed to do it. Guess, his interns came first. 40 years of Democrat rule in the Congress from 1954 to 1994 and they couldn't do it. All these years of Democrat rule in New Orleans and minority mayors in New Orleans and they couldn't get it done.

So, who comes to the rescue? You got it, President George W. Bush. President Fix-It. Fixing all the things Slick Willie should have been doing for 8 years.

"We should be able to sustain another Katrina," said School Bus Nagin. OK, Mayor, you're on record. If you're wrong, don't blame my President.

"The workd they're doing is just incredible," said School Bus.

Yeah, because you've got G.W. Bush as the boss and not Bill Jefferson (BJ) Clinton.

Then, School Bus said he's got better evacuation plans.

Thank You President Bush, Rush, Sean Hannity, O'Reilly, Fox News and other Republicans who have suggested that Nagin get poor people, the elderly and the handicapped on school buses and city buses and get them to higher ground.

Glad to see Nagin is starting to listen to us Conservative Republicans to fix problems.

You know that leaked video conference Bush had with Louisiana officials the day before Katrina landed ... The one where he promised that everything was prepared for a quick response ... I'd like to thank Bush for a glimpse into his inept perception of reality.

So you're admitting that Bill Clinton, as the president, was wrong in not taking steps to prevent the problem from happening. So then, I guess you're also admitting that G.W., having been president for 5 years before it happened, is wrong for not having taken steps to prevent the problem. So you're saying Bush is wrong. That's twice in two months (ports deal) that you're admitting that Bush was wrong. Are you sure you're not a terrorist because you seem pretty unpatriotic to me.

Lots of people did know and tried to do something about it, but failed when presented with the insane bureaucracy, idiocy, and corruption of the government over hte last 20 years (yes, that includes Reagan, Bush sr., Clinton, and Bush Jr.)

sorry i dont buy that... people are just lazy and expect the government to do everything for them.

when confronted with a wall of political bull shit (and believe me.... i know about a wall of political bull shit) its just like the awesome game from our childhood... "Bear Hunt".... you go around it, under it, over it, or close your eyes and charge through it :)

its just like when soldiers were given instructions to fall flat and cover them selves in the incident of a nuclear strike.... obviously that doesnt work and was just some means of avoiding looking stupid on some suits behalf, or when soldiers were infomred we would be getting more armor kits for vehicles and then reprimanded for making do with whatever scrap metal they could attach to the bitches when the kits never came

Hey Ninjaz, it was President Bush who sent the money and people down there to fix it. Nagin had nothing to do with it.

Plus, it was Bush, the Republicans, Fox News and talk radio that suggested to Nagin that next time he may want to use those buses 48 to 72 hours in advance. Remember, a month or two later in Texas during that hurricane, they did that and the death toll was small.

Republicans get the job done except at the border.

If you look at this race, the Lt. Governor, a white left-wing liberal Democrat male and the sister of the goofy US Senator, is running against School Bus Nagin. How do you like that. The liberal white Democrats have been getting black folk's votes over all these years and now they go into the Chocolate City and want to takeover. They want to fire School Bus Nagin. You'd think they'd allow Nagin to continue and let blacks run the Chocolate City. (By the way, if you haven't been following this....Nagin got in trouble for saying Chocolate City. So, I'm simply quoting what he said).

First, the White Democrat Liberals are throwing the black politicians out. Now, I heard on the talk shows today, black workers are being replaced by illegals since they'll work for less!!!! Really sad how Liberal Democrats are treating black citizens down there who have been so loyal over the decades to white liberal Democrats.

Blacks should wake-up and vote Republican!!!!!

How is it the fault of democrats when business owners hire illegal immigrants in place of African Americans? Are democrats telling the business owners to do this? Are all of the business owners democrats? Are democrats helping the illegal immigrants move to New Orleans?

You know who is really responsible for this? The business owners.

Lou Dobbs and CNN (Clinton News Network) did the story. Plus, CNN and Fox have done stories about the Mexican street gangs that are in New Orleans now.

Every CMU student should be watching Lou Dobbs' one-hour show everyday. It's the only decent program on CNN. Lou is livid about illegal immigrants being here...and against outsourcing. It may be the most anti-multicultural program on TV.

What you don't get is that Wolf Blitzer is a hard core conservative Republican, as is Jack Cafferty. Dobbs is a Republican. Most of the CNN reporters are right-wing.

Here's what Jack Cafferty said yesterday:
If you thought Dobbs had issues with brown people, Jack Cafferty just went off yesterday with a racist rant which left me floored. Them dam, dirty, mexkins was the thrust of his argument.

Let's check in with Jack Cafferty. He's standing by with "The Cafferty File" -- Jack.

JACK CAFFERTY, CNN ANCHOR: Yes, Wolf. Once again, the streets of our country were taken over today by people who don't belong here.

In the wake of Congress failing to pass immigration legislation last week, America's cities once again were clogged with protesters today. Taxpayers who have surrendered highways, parks, sidewalks and a lot of television news time on all these cable news networks to mobs of illegal aliens are not happy about it.

With every concession by the Bush administration, and the ever- growing demands of Mexican president Vicente Fox, America's illegal aliens are becoming ever bolder. March through our streets and demand your rights. Excuse me? You have no rights here, and that includes the right to tie up our towns and cities and block our streets. At some point this could all turn very violent as Americans become fed up with the failure of their government to address the most pressing domestic issue of our time.

Here's the question: What effect will the immigration protests have?

E-mail your thoughts to caffertyfile@CNN.com or go to CNN.com/caffertyfile -- Wolf.

BLITZER: A lot of these demonstrators, you know, Jack, are legal. And many of them are citizens of the United States. They're not all illegal immigrants, the people protesting.

CAFFERTY: How do you know?

BLITZER: Because I as out on the streets. I saw.

CAFFERTY: Well, where's the immigration service? Why don't they pull the buses up and start asking these people to show their green cards? And the ones that don't have them, put them on the buses and send them home.

BLITZER: There's a -- well, that's an expensive proposition, as you know -- 12 million -- 12 million of them.

CAFFERTY: As opposed to the cost we're enduring by having 12 million of these people running around the country.

BLITZER: Jack, much more coming up. We have a debate. Lou Dobbs is standing by as well.

CAFFERTY: Yes.

BLITZER: Jack Cafferty, thank you very much.

People should understand that conservatives pretend that CNN is liberal because then, when it reinforces right-wing perspectives, they can say, "See? Even CNN says so!"

The fundamental fallacy is that CNN is liberal in the first place.

It's a delusion about CNN, and the majority of media.

Wrong CNN story Blisters. If you go to Yahoo Search....Type in Illegal Immigrants in New Orleans...hopefully up will pop for you, the YumaSun.com which has the Lou Dobbs Show transcript about New Orleans.

Corporate America and Democrats, along with about a half-dozen Republicans, are screwing the middle-class and lower-class whites, blacks, Asians and legal Hispanics.

Corporate America smells money...the Democrats smell Corporate America money and votes. The half-dozen Republicans are in it for a combination of the previous sentence.

Back to New Orleans, I know from watching TV news, the Illegal Mexican and Central America street gangs are in New Orleans now.

I wasn't trying to post Lou Dobbs, I was pointing out that there are plenty of reactionary hate-mongering conservatives on CNN.

And I thought you would be especially interested that this was Jack Cafferty, since you were calling him a liberal the other day.

He's obviously not a liberal.

If Jack Cafferty is a Conservative, then the Detroit Lions will win the Super Bowl this year. This guy is the king of left-wingers at the Clinton News Network. Dobbs is probably the closest thing to a conservative, but I put him as a Moderate Conservative.

Well, Cafferty has bragged about his two votes for Bush quite openly.

Someone can be a Republican even if they aren't totally loyal to Bush on all topics at all times.

I hope School Bus wins. African-Americans have been so loyal down there to the white, left-wing, liberal Democrats for decades...you'd think the white Democrats would at least allow New Orleans to have a black mayor. So, I'm on Nagin's side.

Although, I thought he'd get 50 percent of the vote. At 38 percent, he is really going to have to work hard to get more votes in the runoff.

You have to hand it to President Bush. He created that hurricane out in the gulf...and now the New Orleans economy is booming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's not why silly man. For a supposed economics professor, you've once again shown that you don't know much about economics.

TELL me about it. I think it all started with lazy conseravatives saying that "Liberals blame Bush for the hurricane." That was their lazy way of saying that "liberals blame Bush for the terrible fallout from the Katrina disaster," which is true, to some extent.

But sooner or later that got shortened into, "Liberals blame Bush for the hurricane."

The other factor was that Bobby Kennedy Jr. wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post shortly after Katrina saying that global warming was going to cause more Katrinas. Conservatives had great fun twisting that around to saying that Kennedy was blaming Bush for Katrina.

It's all deception.

Theeprof is not that unusual, either. He's an aberation on this board, but he's closer to the norm of the talk-radio listening audience, who are so heavily indoctrinated that they probably can no longer tell truth from their own self-serving fiction.
