That's terrible news. :(
Tony seems like a genuinely decent guy. We all should live forever so we never have to stop arguing about politics.
Isn't he a republican?
Shouldn't he just be praying for it to go away, instead of seeking all that newfangled medical scientific treatment hooey?

I feel sorry for the man, and that was funny, Kuma.

Good point, also, where's the "calling for his resignation crowd"? I thought that's what responsible public officials were supposed to do when they got sick.
 Damn, now I feel bad. I was being facetious, of course, and obviously I feel bad for the guy, but damn...I get a little goofy for a night and everybody's like "Kuma has a point!" and stuff...
Irony is my curse.

Hey, if nothing else it was a nice cheap shot at the anti-science party, with a significant degree of truth.
Frankly, the Republican war on science is a major threat to our national progress.
People (on the right) need to realize that the USA didn't become the leading nation on earth because of luck or God's blessing. It happened because of our complete and total embrace of reason, logic, science, and the values of the Enlightenment.
We are moving away from that under the Republicans.
Jrod, for example, a college graduate and law student, believes that science should only be allowed inside schools if it passes a Christian litmus test.
We are moving away from that under the Republicans.
Ha, you make a post about how we all divide the world in to friends and enemies, etc, and then immediately go on to say this.

(1) But, it's true!*
(2) I'm only human!
(3)
* Actually, only a large portion of Republicans hate science. Not all.
Not sure if the original article mentioned it or not but I just heard a report that the cancer had spread to his liver which obviously is not good.

It's terribly sad. He's so young, and he was at the peak of his career. Let's hope recovery is possible, but the news reports don't sound good. Cancer is the bane of our age.
Liver Cancer is horrible and painful, but *luckily* if his doctors give him a positive prognosis and a match can be found, he could have a liver transplant.
Cancer is a horrible disease repub or dem, poor guy and his family.

His diagnosis is a death sentence. It's sad, but he will die and it probably won't take very long. The report I read said the liver cancer has metastasized to his liver and "other organs."
The liver cancer alone will be enough to kill him, unfortunately :(
Barring some miracle, of course
I do really feel horrible for Snow and his family. Although Snow happily lies through his teeth and supports stuff that I despise, I don't mind listening to him. I f*cking HATED Scott McLellan. Tony Snow is infinitely better than McLellan
Praying is about all Snow CAN do right now.
